Accessibility Statement

At Catching Patterns, we are dedicated to making our cognitive behavioural therapy services accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for all. Founded and run by Racquel Barnes, we are committed to ensuring that everyone—regardless of ability, background, or circumstance—can access meaningful mental health support in a safe and respectful environment.

Our Approach to Accessibility

  • Inclusive Practice
We recognise the diverse needs of our clients and are committed to delivering therapy that respects and supports individuals from all walks of life. Whether you are neurodivergent, living with a disability, or require additional support, we are here to listen and adapt.

  • Physical Accessibility
Where in-person sessions are offered, we aim to work from locations that are wheelchair accessible and easy to navigate. If you have specific mobility or sensory requirements, please get in touch ahead of your appointment so we can make any necessary arrangements.

  • Remote Sessions
We offer online therapy sessions via accessible, easy-to-use platforms. These platforms are compatible with most assistive technologies, and we are happy to provide guidance or alternatives if needed.

  • Communication and Information Access
We are committed to clear, compassionate communication. Materials and information can be provided in alternative formats (e.g., large print, plain language) upon request. We also tailor communication styles to better support clients who may experience cognitive or communication difficulties.

  • Continuous Improvement
We regularly review our practices to ensure we are meeting accessibility standards and client needs. We welcome feedback from all clients to help us grow and improve our services.
